Work-Related Injury and Illness Recordkeeping
Recognize your employer’s recording and reporting responsibilities for work-related injuries and illnesses. This OSHA training course covers key recordkeeping standards, processes, and documents. To begin the course, we’ll outline basic recordkeeping requirements under OSHA Part 1904, including criteria for partial exemptions. We will also cover categories of injuries and illnesses which employers must keep records of, along with common non-recordable events. Next, you’ll learn about important recordkeeping forms and guidelines for their use. Finally, we’ll discuss storing and saving records, submitting forms electronically, safeguarding employee privacy, OSHA inspections and investigations, and your rights and involvement in the recordkeeping process.
