The 3D Commercial Schematic Powerhouse course focuses on the complex (including machinery, associated equipment, and the structure housing it) that is used to generate power. The powerhouse (or power plant) reviewed is a commercial application, a typical hospital boiler, an enclosed vessel in which water is heated and circulated, either as hot water or as steam, for heating or power. Water movement and other important features are animated in a typical commercial setting to help learners visualize how a burner ignites some type of fuel—often natural gas—and sends the hot gases into a long tube that snakes back and forth through the water. Powerhouse contains five interactive lessons and quizzes that focus on the boiler operation in a typical hospital.

Chillers contains six interactive lessons and quizzes that focus on the chillers, cooling towers, piping systems, circulating systems, make-up water, and materials in a central chiller plant in a typical hospital.
